#backu-server

Runs the HTTP gateway, account service, static web app, and Iroh server endpoint.

#backu-cli daemon

Connects one machine and exposes explicitly configured Label=/absolute/path roots. It uses https://backu.app by default; override it with --server-endpoint or BACKU_SERVER_ENDPOINT for self-hosted deployments.

The backu-cli binary also provides the index, search, info, and dirs commands for working with the local media index.

#backu-finder

Authorizes through the browser and incrementally mirrors a remote root into an ordinary local directory. It uses https://backu.app by default; override it with --server-url or BACKU_SERVER_URL. Use --once for a one-shot sync or --open to reveal the destination in Finder.
